To get you off the ground we’ve put together our Acorn Small Business Package which includes all the design you need to get your business looking the part. It’s important you look professional from the start, that’s why we start with a logo design – we’ll offer you at least 3 alternatives, all individual designs, bespoke for your new company. We’ll then get you seen by designing a search engine friendly website which you’ll be able to manage, meaning you can add to it with new pages and web content whenever you want. As money can be tight when you’re staring up your business we’ll include a year’s free web hosting with an email address with 10 aliases. To complete the package we’ll design your stationery: business cards, letterheads & Compliment Slips they’ll then be beautifully printed with 250 of each.

Logo Design
Your logo and identity is the first thing that perspective clients see of you, it reflects the type of company you are and what you do. If it looks rubbish – you look rubbish!
We design a logo for you that reflects you and your company. We’ll talk with you about the your business and design a logo that bespoke for you – nothing off the shelf with us and certainly no cheap clip art!
Along with your logo we’ll also suggests fonts to use with it and consider such things as a ‘strap line’ to go with your logo (such as our ‘the design package for start up businesses’).
We will supply you with all the artwork we produce for you, your logo in vector eps form, jpeg and png.
Website Design
Having a professional, flexible website provides a fantastic shop front for your new business. Whilst many start up packages provide you with a handful of static pages, our web design package is a little different – we provide you with a content managed site meaning you can add words, pictures and even pages when ever you want – without coming back to us. This means you can keep your news up-to-date and add new pages about products or services.
Our websites are built to the latest web standards and are optimised for search engines.
Each of our Acorn website designs is bespoke and tailored for you with your identity carried through to your website design.
We also provide hosting for your website and register the domain name (www.yourdomainname.co.uk) for you for 2 years. Hosting is free for the first 12 months after that it‘s only £60 per year. We will also set up to 10 email aliases (yourname@yourdomainname.co.uk).
Stationery Design
The Acorn Small Business package includes the design of your business card, A4 letterhead and DL sized compliment slip. These, of course will support your new identity and be designed with as much care as your other Acorn design items.
Once you’ve approved your stationery design we will print 100 of each item – we use only the best digital printing presses and materials for superb results.
Your full colour business cards could be either matt laminated for a real quality feel, or printed on uncoated stock with a tactile feel – it all depends on what we think works best with your design. Letterheads and compliment slips are printed on 120gsm laser guaranteed paper. Should you need extra quantities of any stationery items, or more than one business card name, no problem – let us know what you need and we’ll give you a price for the extra printed items
Want more (or less) than our standard business start up package?
We realise that our business start up package won’t suit everyone perfectly. Maybe you don’t want a flexible, multi-page website – maybe a one page site will do approved all you need. Or maybe you need a website that allows you to sell your products or services. We can’t give you a price here for all the possible variations but we’ve listed some of the obvious options below. Should you require anything different, let us know and we’'ll give you a price.

We’re not just web geeks playing at design either – we have considerable graphic design experience that stretches back 20 years with over 12 years experience of designing and building websites – from single page sites to full e-commerce web stores.
All our design and website building is done here is Sheffield – no outsourcing to India or other distant shores, only us, providing professional, bespoke designs. We will get to know your business, research your market and make sure what ever we design for you is perfectly targeted for your business’s market.

Once we’ve outlined what we’re going to do for you (we’ll give you a written proposal for the work we’ll carry out) we need a deposit of 50% of the final cost – once received we’ll get to work on giving your business its professional identity. Final payment will be due once all our design work is complete and signed off. Once final payment is made we’ll hand your website over to you and delivery your stationery.
